Description
Beech trees are very common in Ireland as they are beautiful to look at and provide excellent shelter as both hedges and trees. Beech trees can grow to heights of 80-120ft tall and spread from 50-80ft in width. They are deciduous trees that display beautiful colours all year round. The leaves are shiny green which then turn yellow then brown in autumn. Mature beech trees can develop a canopy which looks impressive and also provides good shelter.
